Vol. 01 / Vienna

Vol. 01

Tachles café, in the heart of Vienna. A room where nobody stood on their own for long.

A fashion show. Music. A stylist. A clothing brand. A jewellery brand. A T-shirt painting table. A spray wall. And a collab board at the door where you wrote your name, what you do, and one thing you were looking for.

People kept introducing each other all night. That is the format, and it is the whole point.

A hand-lettered paper sign reading draw urself, with two pencil portraits below it.
The full room at Vol. 01, guests standing and talking between the stage and the bar.

Create. Connect. Collect.

01 / The door

A card, not a queue

Name. What you do. One thing you are looking for. Pinned to a board where everyone could read it.

By the end of the night the board was the fastest way to find the person you needed.

Two guests walking through the venue in leopard print and black lace.
Printed collaboration cards spread across a wooden table at the door.

02 / The runway

A fashion show in a room this size

No barrier, no backstage worth the name, and the front row sat on the floor. Phones up the whole way down.

A model walking the runway past a seated audience filming on phones.
Three guests posed together against a bookshelf in an editorial group portrait.
A guest in a burgundy top and burgundy leopard-print trousers beside a wooden table.
A guest in a long red lace coat sitting across a narrow stone stairwell.

03 / The tables

Things to make, not things to watch

A T-shirt painting table with markers and blank vests. A paint wall that was clean at eight and unreadable by midnight. A stylist working through printed style analyses at a table in the corner.

Nobody stood against a wall holding a drink for very long.

White vests drawn on with marker pens, laid across a wooden table.

The wall

Red and black on a white sheet, and a queue for the spray can.

A guest spray-painting a large red letter onto the paint wall, seen from behind.
A hand holding a spray can in front of red letters painted on the white wall.
A gold ruffled satin skirt against dark wood.
Two guests photographed with direct flash in front of a red painted door.

04 / Late

The part nobody planned

The set moved, the room moved with it, and the people who came alone left with numbers.

That is the only measure of the night that matters.

Two guests hugging on the dance floor, one in green boots, one in burgundy.
Guests dancing on the dancefloor in front of a green sequin backdrop, late in the night.
